Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Shareholders of Ipoteka Bank have approved a partial write-off of overdue loan debt owed by Siyovush Tekstil Buxoro LLC totaling US$3.8 million and €2.8 million. The total amount to be written off exceeds €6 million. The decision was made at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders held on 15 September 2026.
In addition to the principal debt, the bank will write off interest and penalties accrued by the company from the date of the court’s written decision on the conclusion of a settlement agreement, taking into account the approved partial write-off amount.
At the meeting, shareholders also approved the appointment of Sentpeteri Adam Andras as chairman of the board of Ipoteka Bank for a three-year term.
Changes have also been made to the bank’s management team. On 17 September, Ipoteka Bank announced the departure of Irakli Elashvili, who had served as deputy chairman of the board and head of the corporate banking and market instruments division.
Responsibility for managing the operations division has been assigned to Deputy Chairman of the Board Dmitry Volchek.
At the same time, Maksim Bykov left the bank’s board. He previously served as deputy chairman of the board and head of the operations division.
