Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Higher Tax School under Uzbekistan’s Tax Committee and the Academy of Leadership and Business Process Management of Russia’s Federal Tax Service (FTS Academy) have signed a bilateral cooperation agreement.

The agreement is aimed at expanding international cooperation and developing a training system for tax professionals with modern knowledge and professional competencies.

Igitaliy Narziev, Rector of the Higher Tax School, and Ivan Yefremov, Rector of the FTS Academy, said the agreement would take cooperation in training and professional development of tax system personnel to a new level. Other priorities include introducing modern educational technologies and exchanging best practices.

During the visit, the sides discussed improving tax administration and developing human resources. Particular attention was paid to modern educational programmes, digital technologies and research cooperation.

Representatives of the Higher Tax School also familiarised themselves with the FTS Academy’s educational and professional development activities, as well as its advanced educational programmes.

Following the meetings, the sides confirmed their readiness to consistently expand mutually beneficial cooperation, improve practical mechanisms for exchanging experience and implement joint projects to train qualified tax professionals.
