Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A delegation from Ferghana region is currently on an official visit to Türkiye, actively working to expand cooperation with Turkish business partners.
During the visit, regional representatives toured industrial enterprises and production centers, conducted negotiations, and reached several significant agreements.
Particular attention was paid to the production processes of children’s clothing at Love Maxx, Wowo Kids, and Popshops factories.
Turkish entrepreneurs were presented with the opportunities offered by the Kokand Free Economic Zone, the Kokand Technopark special industrial zone, and the Boboşbek production and trade complex. They also received detailed information about local Uzbek markets and the advantages of supplying products to neighboring countries.
Additionally, negotiations were held with representatives of the Yıldırım district, focusing on measures to establish new textile enterprises based at the Boboşbek production and trade complex in Uchkupik.
As part of the visit, a contract worth US$10 million was signed between Visne Motors and Kokand Bicycles LLC for the supply of gasoline and electric scooters, along with their components.
To implement the agreements reached, visits by Turkish entrepreneurs to Ferghana region are planned in November and December.
