Denis istomin to take part in the qualification round of the Australian Open

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan’s Denis Istomin will take part in the qualification round of the Australian Open, press service of the Tennis Federation of Uzbekistan said.

Qualification round starts on 10 January. Currently, Istomin is preparing for this competition.

It should be especially noted that for the first time in history, the qualification round will be held outside Australia, more precisely, for men in Doha, and for women, in Dubai. 

The main draw starts on 8 February, according to tradition in Melbourne. This year the Australian Open has a prize pool of US$55,534,000.
