Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The share of Uzbekistan’s population aged 10 and older who use computers reached 62.1% in 2025.
The indicator increased by 13 percentage points compared with 2017, the National Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said, citing data from sample household surveys.
Computer usage has shown steady growth in recent years. In 2017, computers were used by 49.1% of the population aged 10 and older. The figure stood at 49.7% in 2018 and 49.8% in 2019.
In 2020, the indicator rose to 52.5%, reaching 58.2% in 2021. In 2022, the share of computer users was 58.8%, while in 2023 it reached 59.2%.
In 2024, computers were used by 60.4% of the population in the relevant age group. In 2025, the figure increased to 62.1%.
Thus, between 2017 and 2025, the share of the population aged 10 and older using computers rose from 49.1% to 62.1%.
