Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — On 18 September, the seventh round of the World Chess Olympiad took place in Budapest.

The Uzbekistan men’s team secured a decisive victory over Ukraine with a score of 3-1. Nodirbek Abdusattorov and Javokhir Sindarov won their games, while Nodirbek Yakubboev and Shamsiddin Vakhidov drew their matches.

The Uzbekistan women’s team also achieved success, defeating Greece 2.5-1.5. Afruza Khamdamova lost her game, Marjona Malikova drew, and Umida Omonova and Nodira Nodirjanova won their games.
