Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — On 20 September 2024, matches of the ninth round of the World Chess Olympiad took place in Budapest.

The Uzbekistan men’s team drew against the Indian team with a score of 2-2. Nodirbek Abdusattorov, Javokhir Sindarov, Shamsiddin Vokhidov, and Jahongir Vakhidov all finished their games in draws.

The Uzbekistan women’s team also split points with the Serbian team, ending their match in a 2-2 tie.

Afruza Khamdamova and Nilufar Yakubboeva drew their games, while Malika Marjanova lost to her opponent. Nodira Nodirjanova, however, secured a victory.
