As earlier reported, MPs were elected in 113 from 135 electoral districts in the result of elections, which took place on 21 December. On the same day, Ecologic Movement of Uzbekistan held a conference to elect MPs to the Legislative Chamber. The movement elected 15 MPs.
The movement of entrepreneurs and business people – The Liberal-Democratic party of Uzbekistan (UzLiDeP) won 47 seats, Democratic Party of Uzbekistan Milliy Tiklanish – 28, People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan – 21, Social Democratic Party of Uzbekistan Adolat – 17 seats. They were registered by the CEC.
About 38 people were re-elected to the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan. About 10 of them represent Ecologic Movement of Uzbekistan.
CEC will hold the second round of the parliamentary elections in 22 electoral districts on 4 January 2015, where none of candidates collected necessary number of votes.
