Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev visited Uzbekistan’s national pavilion at the ADEX 2026 international defense technology exhibition, which opened in Baku.
Uzbekistan’s Defense Minister, Lieutenant General Shukhrat Khalmukhamedov, and Chairman of the Defense Industry Committee Akmal Jumanazarov are participating in the exhibition.
During his visit to the pavilion, Uzbekistan’s defense minister presented the Azerbaijani president with products displayed under the unified national “Made in Uzbekistan” brand.
The pavilion features samples of military products and dual-use goods, including ammunition, personal protective equipment, military equipment, aviation components, unmanned aerial vehicles and anti-drone systems.
Uzbekistan’s participation in ADEX 2026 is aimed at presenting the production capabilities and technological potential of the country’s defense industry on an international platform, as well as developing new areas of cooperation.
Alongside ADEX 2026, Baku is hosting the Securex Caspian international exhibition dedicated to technologies for internal security, protection and rescue operations. An Uzbek delegation took part in its opening ceremony.
