Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan won another gold medal at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games, with Aitjan Khalmakhanov claiming the title in the 67kg Greco-Roman wrestling category.
In the final, the Uzbek wrestler faced Japan’s Ketaro Sogabe and secured victory.
Khalmakhanov was therefore crowned Asian Games champion in his weight category, adding another gold medal to Uzbekistan’s tally.
