Uzkimyosanoat, KOICA, and KRICT Discuss UzCCT Project Status
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — JSC Uzkimyosanoat held a meeting on 19 August 2026 with representatives from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and the Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology (KRICT), according to the state chemical company.
The participants reviewed the status of a joint project aimed at establishing the Korea-Uzbekistan Research and Design Institute, known as the UzCCT Innovation Center for Chemical Technologies.
During the talks, officials evaluated completed work and addressed administrative matters requiring coordinated decisions among the partner institutions.
Special attention was given to Joint R&D initiatives. The sides reviewed primary research outcomes, scientific accomplishments, and the status of upcoming academic publications.
The parties also outlined plans to complete ongoing research projects and examined potential practical applications for their findings in UzCCT's future scientific operations.
Following the meeting, Uzkimyosanoat, KOICA, and KRICT established next operational steps, agreeing to refine project coordination, assign task responsibilities among stakeholders, and streamline subsequent execution phases.
