Uzbekneftegaz and Siemens Energy to Modernize Infrastructure

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The management of the Uzbekneftegaz Joint Stock Company held talks with a delegation from the international technology company Siemens Energy, led by its Vice President for Türkiye and Central Asia.

The meeting, organized on the sidelines of the Tashkent International Investment Forum, was part of a series of bilateral events aimed at a large-scale expansion of partnerships between the Uzbek holding company and leading global corporations.

During the negotiations, the sides reviewed in detail the parameters of prospective joint projects focused on integrating modern high-tech solutions into the oil and gas sector of the republic.

The dialogue participants paid special attention to the modernization of existing gas turbine installations, as well as opportunities for the design and construction of new compressor stations at the production facilities of Uzbekneftegaz.

Representatives of the companies exchanged expert opinions on key areas for increasing the efficiency of bilateral cooperation in the fuel and energy sector.

The mechanisms for attracting investment to support the technological renewal of infrastructure were also a focal point of attention.

The practical outcome of the meeting was an agreement between the parties to begin preparing comprehensive technical and economic proposals for all discussed areas of cooperation to subsequently implement the designated plans.
