Uzbekistan to provide up to US$50,000 for national brands
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan will provide subsidies of up to US$50,000 to national brands entering international markets under Presidential Decree No. UP-175, signed on 27 August 2026, titled “On measures to implement the tasks identified during the VI Open Dialogue of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan with entrepreneurs.”
The funds will be used to promote national brands in foreign markets and bring products and brands into line with international requirements.
The decree also provides for compensation covering 50% of expenses for bringing in foreign specialists to create and develop brands. The maximum amount of such compensation will be US$500,000.
Entrepreneurs will also receive compensation for 50% of expenses related to placing and selling products through marketplaces.
A separate measure concerns companies’ participation in international tenders. The state will reimburse up to 80% of expenses for hiring consulting companies to prepare for and participate in such tenders, as well as costs directly related to participation in international tenders.
The measures set out in the decree are aimed at supporting national brands entering foreign markets, promoting Uzbek products and expanding entrepreneurs’ opportunities to participate in international trade.
