Uzbekistan Cuts Coffee Imports by 32% in Early 2026
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In January–February 2026, Uzbekistan imported coffee from 20 foreign countries, totaling 136.2 tons with a combined value of US$1.6 million, according to data from the National Statistics Committee.
Compared to the same period in 2025, imports declined by 65.4 tons, or 32.4 percent, indicating a significant contraction in coffee shipments to the country at the start of the year.
Italy remained the largest supplier of coffee to Uzbekistan during the reporting period, exporting 46.3 tons. It was followed by Ethiopia with 26.7 tons, Vietnam with 15 tons, Germany with 14.8 tons, and Russia with 14.2 tons. The remaining 19.2 tons were supplied collectively by other countries.
