Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia sign agreement on mutual exemption from short-term visas for holders of diplomatic and special passports

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 15 April 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud.

“Particular attention was paid to the practical enrichment of the dynamically expanding multifaceted cooperation and full-scale partnership between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Certain issues of a regional nature and interaction within multilateral platforms are also included on the agenda of our meeting. We signed an Intergovernmental Agreement on mutual exemption from short-term visas for holders of diplomatic and special passports,” noted the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan in his Telegram channel.
