Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry, held a meeting with Huang Weidong, Chairman of the Board of Jian Hospital and Carbon Intelligence Stem Cell, as well as representatives of the Haishi Hainuo Group (China).
The parties discussed prospects for scientific cooperation in the fields of biotechnology and stem cell research.
During the talks, Huang Weidong proposed expanding partnership in several areas, including the supply of stem cells to research institutions and the organization of clinical trials, the implementation of genetic screening programs, and cooperation in information technology — in particular, the establishment of a data processing center (Data Center).
Abdulla Azizov presented information on Uzbekistan’s ongoing efforts to develop the biotechnology sector, strengthen research capacity, and expand international collaboration in this area.
