Uzbekistan and Cape Verde sign joint communiqué establishing diplomatic relations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — On 23 September 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Regional Integration of Cape Verde, Rui Alberto de Figueiredo Soares.

"Together with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Regional Integration of Cape Verde, we signed a Joint Communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations. Undoubtedly, this new partnership opens up new opportunities for the peoples of both our countries," noted the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan in his Telegram channel.
