Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan agreed to exchange additional permit forms for international cargo transportation for 2023.

The countries held a meeting of the joint commission dedicated to international road transport between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.

The parties discussed the problems faced by national carriers and issues related to their solution.

During the meeting, the parties agreed to exchange additional bilateral permit forms for 2023 and determined a quota for the exchange of permit forms for 2024.

From 2024, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan will divide permits into three types: transit, bilateral and trilateral.
