Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Uzbek Business Council in the UAE, with the support of the Representative Office of Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade in the UAE (UZFDI), held a meeting with UAE-based cargo airline SolitAir at its facilities at Dubai World Central (DWC).
The sides discussed cooperation in aviation and logistics, as well as expanding air cargo connectivity between the UAE and Uzbekistan.
The delegation of the Uzbek Business Council was received by Hamdi Osman, founder and CEO of SolitAir.
Company representatives also gave the guests a tour of the carrier’s cargo and logistics facilities.
The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between SolitAir, the Uzbek Business Council and aviation and logistics companies in Uzbekistan. The sides discussed opportunities to expand air cargo transportation between the two countries.
SolitAir already has experience working with Uzbek carriers, including My Freighter and Centrum Air. The company has also supported cargo operations through Navoi, including the Navoi–New Delhi route.
Hamdi Osman and other SolitAir representatives previously participated in the Tashkent International Investment Forum.
The Uzbek Business Council said the meeting was another practical step toward establishing ties between Uzbek businesses and leading logistics partners in the UAE, as well as strengthening Uzbekistan’s role in regional and international cargo flows.
