Uzbek athletes return home from Asian Games

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Athlete of Uzbekistan, who participated in the Asian Games in Incheon (South Korea), returned to Uzbekistan.

The first group of the delegation of Uzbekistan returned in Tashkent on Saturday, 4 October 2014, while final group returned to Uzbekistan on Monday, 6 October 2014.

Representatives of sport federations, journalists, fans and relatives of the athletes welcomed them at the Tashkent airport.

Uzbekistan won 9 gold, 14 silver and 21 bronze medals of the 17th Summer Asian Games in Incheon.

About 296 athletes from Uzbekistan participated in the Asian Games. They competed in 32 sports.
