Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The Chairman of the Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights of Uzbekistan has been relieved of his post.

Shahrukh Sharakhmetov served as head of the Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights of Uzbekistan. He was relieved of his position due to a transfer to another job.

At the beginning of November 2023, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev ordered to study the issue of Shahrukh Sharakhmetov’s suitability for his position.
