TBC Uzbekistan Launches Digital Payroll Service for SMEs

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — TBC Uzbekistan has added a fully digital payroll feature to its TBC Biznes platform, allowing small and medium-sized businesses to automate employee salary payments entirely online — without visiting a branch or paying transaction fees.

The new service enables legal entities and individual entrepreneurs to onboard a payroll project and process salary transfers directly to employees' TBC Salom cards through the platform interface, around the clock and at no additional cost. The bank says the feature is designed to reduce the administrative burden on accounting departments while streamlining the payment cycle.

Employees also benefit directly: TBC Salom cardholders can be onboarded remotely without a bank visit, and gain access to the bank's broader bonus ecosystem.

The payroll launch is the latest expansion of a digital banking product that has moved quickly since its December 2024 debut. TBC Biznes launched in web format and within months had attracted over 30,000 entrepreneurs. Online business lending of up to 300 million soums was introduced in 2025; by 2026, a mobile application had gone live and the credit ceiling had been doubled to 600 million soums.

The payroll addition extends a digital ecosystem at TBC Uzbekistan that now spans lending, insurance, and expanded banking access for non-residents — positioning the bank as one of the more aggressive builders of fully digital SME infrastructure in the Uzbek market.
