Strasbourg shows interest in Abbosbek Fayzullaev

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — French club Strasbourg is considering a potential transfer for 22-year-old Uzbekistan national team midfielder Abbosbek Fayzullaev, currently playing for Turkish side Istanbul Basaksehir, according to French outlet Les Transferts.

The French club aims to bolster its attacking options before the end of the summer transfer window and is reportedly interested in opening negotiations for the midfielder. However, neither Strasbourg nor Istanbul Basaksehir has officially confirmed any negotiations or agreements regarding the transfer.

Fayzullaev is bound to Istanbul Basaksehir by a long-term contract running through June 2030, having joined the Turkish outfit from CSKA Moscow in July 2025. He continues to feature regularly for the Istanbul side in the current season, having recorded three appearances and one assist in early 2026/27 campaign matches.

At present, the potential move to the Ligue 1 outfit remains strictly at the level of interest from the French side, with no formal agreement or negotiations officially confirmed.
