Some 21,000 Italians visited Uzbekistan in seven months

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan received 21,000 Italian citizens in January-July 2026, with the majority visiting the country for travel purposes, the National Statistics Committee said.

According to the committee, 20,100 Italian citizens visited Uzbekistan for travel, while another 556 arrived for business purposes.

A total of 320 Italian citizens came to Uzbekistan to visit relatives, while 61 arrived for study. Three people each entered the country for medical treatment and commercial trips.

Travel-related visits accounted for about 95.7% of the total number of arrivals from Italy. The figure is calculated from 20,100 travelers divided by the overall total of 21,000 visitors.
