Shomurodov Tops Turkish Super Lig Scoring List 2026

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan national team forward Eldor Shomurodov has finished the 2025–2026 Turkish Super League season as one of the league’s top scorers while playing for Istanbul Basaksehir.

Shomurodov joined the Turkish club on loan from Italy’s AS Roma ahead of the season. In the league campaign, he played 34 matches, scoring 22 goals and providing 4 assists.

With this performance, Shomurodov shared the top scorer position with Paul Onuachu of Trabzonspor, who also scored 22 goals. Both players finished the season as the leading attackers in the competition.

Istanbul Basaksehir ended the season in fifth place in the Turkish Super League standings.
