Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan boxer Shavkatjon Boltaev won a bronze medal at the Asian Games in the men’s 70kg category, the Uzbekistan Boxing Federation reported.
In the tournament semifinal, Boltaev faced Kazakhstan’s boxer Torekhan Sabirkhan. The Uzbek athlete put up a competitive fight but lost the bout 0-5.
Boltaev therefore finished his Asian Games campaign with a bronze medal.
