Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Hazrati Khizr complex during a trip to Samarkand Region on 18 October and laid flowers at the grave of the country’s first president, Islam Karimov.
During the visit, verses from the Quran were recited and prayers were offered.
