On 31 January, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev chaired a meeting on the introduction of a new public transport system in the cities of Tashkent, Nukus and regional centers.
The Uzbek delegation formed from the representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Tashkent State Agrarian University and the FAO Country Office in Uzbekistan took part in a regional workshop in Baku (Republic of Azerbaijan) focused on the results and successes of recently implemented projects of the FAO-Turkey Partnership Programs. On 12 December 2022, the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to uninterruptedly provide consumers with motor gasoline in the autumn-winter period and prevent a sharp increase in its prices" was approved. According to this resolution, until 1 March 2023, as an exception, the zero excise tax rate for AI-80 gasoline imported, produced by domestic enterprises and sold by business entities to end consumers.

The meeting’s agenda covered topics on strengthening cooperation in trade, economic and investment cooperation, partnership within the framework of Uzbekistan's accession to the WTO and other areas of mutual interest.
The Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from January 23, 2023 № UP-13 "On introduction of amendments and additions to some acts of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan" increased lease period of state facilities from 1 year to 3 years, and in case of fulfillment of obligations - from 5 years to 6 years.
