Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, reviewed the activities of Tashkent Architecture and Construction University.
The university currently has about 10,000 students studying across four fields.
During the visit, Saida Mirziyoyeva reviewed the use of digital solutions in the university’s administrative, educational and research processes.
The university is also developing dual education, commercialising research developments, while its campus is being used as a platform for implementing sustainable solutions.
Particular attention was paid to training specialists for the development of a modern urban environment.
Saida Mirziyoyeva stressed the need to train architects, designers, engineers and other specialists capable of developing and implementing environmentally sustainable architectural and engineering solutions.
According to her, creating modern and green cities requires not only appropriate infrastructure, but also specialists capable of applying innovative approaches to architecture and engineering.
