Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Russia increased exports of agricultural and agro-industrial products to Uzbekistan by 46% in volume and 36% in value in January-August 2026, according to the federal Agroexport centre.
Russia supplied around 930,000 tonnes of agricultural products to Uzbekistan during the eight-month period, with the total value of exports reaching US$916 million.
According to Agroexport estimates, both the physical volume and value of Russia’s agricultural exports to Uzbekistan reached record levels for the January-August period in 2026.
The five largest categories by supply volume were sugar at 293,000 tonnes, soybean cake and meal at 211,000 tonnes, wheat at more than 71,000 tonnes, non-alcoholic beverages at more than 41,000 tonnes and sunflower oil at more than 31,500 tonnes.
Agroexport said the main drivers of export growth were increased supplies of sugar, soybean cake and meal, as well as other agricultural and agro-industrial products.
Compared with the same period in 2025, Russian agricultural exports to Uzbekistan increased by 46% in physical terms and by 36% in value terms.
