First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs holds a meeting with the Ambassador of Japan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 8 February 2023, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to our country Takashi Hatori.

During the meeting, practical aspects of Uzbek-Japanese cooperation in the political, trade, economic, education, cultural and humanitarian spheres and deepening economic diplomacy were discussed.

The importance of bilateral efforts to find new ways and opportunities for developing trade, increasing exports and investment cooperation was noted. The Ambassador announced the growing interest of Japanese business in establishing business ties with Uzbek partners.

The parties also noted the importance of strengthening cooperation in the field of attracting Japanese experts to improve their skills and exchange experience in the field of training personnel for industries in Uzbekistan.
