New Deputy Foreign Minister Appointed in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 26 May 2026, Mirvohid Azimov was appointed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan in accordance with a presidential decree.
The appointment was announced during a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Prior to his new role, Mirvohid Azimov served at the Organization of Turkic States.
