IMAN Clarifies Functionality of New Adl Neo Service
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — IMAN has issued an official statement regarding its Adl Neo service, which was introduced on 18 June 2026 as part of a new product line. The clarification comes in response to publications in the media and on social networks regarding the functionality of the service.
The company emphasized that Adl Neo is not a bank and does not engage in activities that require a banking license under the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Banks and Banking Activity."
IMAN also announced that it has stopped using the terms "Islamic bank" and "neobank" in descriptions of the service, as the company believes they do not fully reflect its actual capabilities.
As noted by the company, at the current stage of development, Adl Neo does not provide for the issuance of virtual or physical bank cards, does not support P2P transfers, and does not directly provide standard banking services.
The statement noted that the product will be developed in stages in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation of Uzbekistan.
Furthermore, IMAN pointed out that information previously distributed in some sources did not fully reflect the actual capabilities of the service. According to the company, the published statement is intended to eliminate any misunderstandings among users and provide accurate information about the product.
The company emphasized that all of its products and services are developed in strict compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
