Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — On 10 September 2025, representatives of Huawei met with the leadership of Uzbekistan Railways JSC.
The meeting took place at Huawei’s office, where Hikmatulla Rakhmetov, First Deputy Chairman of the Board for Transformation, Digitalization and Finance, along with IT and transformation unit staff, reviewed the company’s advanced technological solutions.
Huawei showcased its achievements in wired and wireless networks, modern server and switching systems, as well as specialized technologies tailored to the needs of railway transport. The innovations presented aim to improve infrastructure and enhance service quality in the sector.
During the discussions, both sides agreed to strengthen cooperation in key areas, including the adoption of cloud services, the use of artificial intelligence to optimize operational processes, and the continued digital transformation of the railway sector.
The partnership is expected to open new opportunities for modernization and innovation, positively influencing the industry’s development and improving passenger services.
