How much did GDP grow by type of economic activity in 2022?

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- According to the Statistical Agency, in 2022, GDP growth reached 5.7%. 

The gross value added created by all sectors of the economy amounted to 93.2% of the total GDP and increased by 6.2%. Net taxes on products in the structure of GDP amounted to 6.8% and, compared to 2021, they decreased by 0.8%.

In the context of activities, the growth in value added amounted to:

- in agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 3.6%;

– in industry – 5.2%;

– in construction – 6.6%;

- in the service sector - 8.5%.
