Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — During a working visit to Afghanistan, Davron Vakhabov, Chairman of Uzbekistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry, visited Spinzar Cotton Company to examine its production capacities, technological processes, and product range.
Founded in the 1920s in Kunduz province, Spinzar Cotton Company is one of Afghanistan’s oldest textile enterprises. Currently, the company produces up to 30 tons of oil and 100,000 units of soap daily, contributing to the local economy and job creation.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in cotton farming and the textile industry, as well as issues related to product supplies and joint projects. As a result of the negotiations, both sides expressed their commitment to developing a partnership, particularly in cotton processing and expanding export potential.
The agreements reached will open new opportunities for entrepreneurs in both Uzbekistan and Afghanistan, strengthening trade and economic ties between the two countries.
