Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Grapes from Uzbekistan’s Ferghana Region are being exported to South Korea for the first time. Local company Quva-Agro Star has prepared a plan to export 300 tonnes of grapes in modern packaging.
As part of preparations for the shipments, South Korean specialists inspected the company’s operating conditions, grape preparation procedures for export and fumigation processes. Following the work, a supply plan was established.
According to the Ferghana Region authorities, the region exported 98,664 tonnes of grapes worth a total of US$97.5 million in 2025. In 2026, exports amounted to 80,000 tonnes valued at US$63 million.
In addition to South Korea, Ferghana grapes are supplied to European countries, Belarus, China, Russia, Iraq, Ukraine and other destinations.
