Within Uzbekistan, Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara remain the most popular destinations for international visitors. At the same time, interest in Khiva has grown noticeably, with the city's share of total bookings increasing significantly over the past year.
Strong demand is also expected in the coming months. According to Expedia Group, 82.9% of all confirmed bookings are for trips scheduled between July and September 2026, traditionally one of Uzbekistan's busiest tourism seasons.
