Driver of a Hyundai Sonata killed a pedestrian in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- In Mirabad district of Tashkent, the driver of a Hyundai Sonata hit a pedestrian to death. This was reported by the press service of the capital’s police department.

A citizen driving a Hyundai Sonata hit a pedestrian at the intersection of Nukus and Avliyota streets. The pedestrian subsequently died in a medical facility.

The Investigation Department of the Tashkent City Internal Affairs Directorate opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the fatal accident.

Investigative actions are being carried out in this case.
