CRCC Investment Explores Mining Projects in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Deputy Minister of Mining Industry and Geology of Uzbekistan Rustam Yusupov held a meeting with a delegation from the Chinese company CRCC Investment (China Railway Construction Investment Group Corporation Limited) led by General Director Xu Yuhe.

During the talks, CRCC Investment representatives spoke about the company's activities, ongoing international investment and infrastructure projects, and expressed interest in expanding cooperation with Uzbekistan. The parties paid particular attention to the prospects of the Chinese company's participation in mining industry projects.

Rustam Yusupov briefed the delegation on ongoing reforms in the field of subsoil use in Uzbekistan, existing mechanisms for attracting investment, and opportunities for investors to participate in electronic auctions for the right to use promising subsoil plots.

Following the meeting, both sides confirmed their mutual interest in developing cooperation and agreed to continue dialogue on promising areas of interaction in the mining industry and geology.
