Bakhtiyor Ashurmatov appointed as Uzbekistan U-23 coach

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan Football Federation appointed Bakhtiyor Ashurmatov as a head coach of Uzbekistan Olympic team (U-23), the press service of the federation said.

At this post, Ashurmatov replaced Shukhrat Maqsudov, who was fired after a violent incident in the match with South Korea U-23 in the King’s Cup in Thailand.

Bakhtiyor Ashurmatov is a head coach of Navbakhor Namangan and assistant of Uzbekistan national football team.
