Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- An earthquake with epicenter in Tajikistan was registered in Tashkent city at 07:47 (Tashkent time) on Monday, 24 January 2011.

The earthquake magnitude in capital city of Uzbekistan was 2-2.5 points, Tashkent Seismic Station said.

According to the US Geological Survey, the earthquake epicenter located 350 km away from Tajikistan capital city of Dushanbe.

The magnitude of earthquake at the epicenter, which is located 400 kilometers from Tashkent, was 6.1 points.
