Rising Auto's story is a rare "there and back again" tale in Chinese auto history. The brand started May 10, 2020 as the Roewe R model, spun off into the independent Rising Auto in November 2021, and then ended its independent run in October 2024, folding back into Roewe — now as a top-tier product line rather than a separate brand.
