Hycan is a premium Chinese EV brand originally founded in 2019 as a joint venture between GAC Group and NIO, focused on design and smart tech features. After NIO's exit, the brand passed to Pearl River and GAC Aion.

Distinguishing feature

In 2023, Hycan ranked among the top 5 Chinese NEV brands for quality — but sales later fell sharply; GAC Aion took over servicing, and the brand effectively wound down active operations by late 2024–early 2025.
