Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The governor of Sirdarya region, Erkinjon Turdimov, held a meeting with representatives of the Malaysian company Canaan Communication & Technologies during which the prospects for cooperation were discussed.

The company representatives announced their plans to develop business in the Sirdarya region by focusing on the BPO (business process outsourcing) sector and expressed their intention to train local personnel in this field.

The head of the region, for his part, noted his willingness to provide assistance in accordance with current legislation.

Following the negotiations, the parties agreed to implement promising joint projects.
