Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On approval of the Program for the implementation of the state youth policy in the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2022-2023” was adopted.
In accordance with the Decree of the President from 13 July 2021 No. UP-6260, annually on the eve of Youth Day, on the proposals and initiatives, problems and their solutions affected by youth, the Government program is adopted, as well as individual territorial programs of the Council of Ministers of Karakalpakstan, khokimiyats of regions, the city of Karakalpakstan. Tashkent, districts and cities.
These programs include a set of measures aimed at mastering young people with knowledge and professions, creating decent working and living conditions, as well as meaningful organization of their free time.
The document approved the Program for the Implementation of the State Youth Policy in the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2022–2023, developed by the Agency for Youth Affairs jointly with the Council of Ministers of Karakalpakstan, the khokimiyats of the regions and the city of Tashkent. It provides:
work with young people included in the "Youth Notebook", in particular, the implementation of additional measures to support young people suffering from deafness, promoting their employment and further increasing their social activity;
holding initiative Olympiads on the principle of "free time of youth - working time of the leader", the introduction of a system of work with youth "mahallabay";
systematic organization of street actions and projects, competitions and circles;
prevention of delinquency among young people, ensuring the stability of the socio-spiritual environment in the field and the effectiveness of educational work;
development of youth infrastructure, international cooperation, further strengthening of interethnic harmony, determination of measures to strengthen the role of the media in the implementation of youth policy.
