World Society announces a roadmap for 2020-2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 7 September, at the office of the World Society for the Study, Preservation and Popularization of the Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan, a meeting of the editorial board of the project "Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan in the World Collections" was held with the participation of the Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, professor, chairman of the editorial board Akmal Saidov, Vice-President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Bakhrom Abdukhalimov, Deputy Minister of Culture, Doctor of Art History Kamola Akilova, Director of the Institute of Art Studies, Candidate of Historical Sciences Shokir Pidaev and Chairman of the Board of the World Society for the Study, Preservation and Promotion of Cultural Heritage Of Uzbekistan Firdavs Abdukhalikov.

During the meeting, a project report on the work done for the current year was heard, as well as a roadmap for the work of the World Society for 2020-2025.

For the first time in history, the World Society’s roadmap to 2025 will be posted on the World Society’s portal for discussion and familiarization with world scientists. Also, the members of the editorial board decided to expand the list of members of the World Society for even greater coverage of the international scientific community with the issues of studying the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan.

There was also a congratulation of the scientists of Uzbekistan - members of the World Society, awarded high awards on the eve of the 29th anniversary of the independence of our country and the presentation of gift certificates for the receipt of the next volumes of the series "Cultural heritage of Uzbekistan in the collections of the world."

During the meeting, new directions of the multimedia project were initiated, such as the holding of the 4th online congress of the World Society for the Study, Preservation and Popularization of the Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan in November this year with the participation of leading scientists and experts of the world, as well as the publication of new books of the series "Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan ".

It is important to note that this year, with the support of the government, the book-albums of the series "Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan in the World Collections" were printed in a circulation of 10,000 copies and will be distributed in libraries of schools and educational institutions of our country.
