Wildberries & Russ Launch “Growth Platform” in Uzbekistan to Support SMEs

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The comprehensive entrepreneurship support initiative “Growth Platform”, developed by Wildberries & Russ, has officially expanded beyond Russia and is now available to businesses in Uzbekistan. The launch was announced by Robert Mirzoyan, CEO of the unified company RWB (Wildberries & Russ), during the Tashkent International Economic Forum.

According to Mirzoyan, the Growth Platform aims to become a powerful tool for systematic support and scaling of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Uzbekistan. The program offers entrepreneurs a wide range of opportunities, including access to international markets and export mechanisms. “Over the past two years, the sales volume of products made by Uzbek entrepreneurs on the Wildberries platform has exceeded USD 1 billion, and we believe this is only the beginning. The Growth Platform will allow companies to reach a qualitatively new level of development,” he emphasized.

At the initial stage, around 100 Uzbek companies have been invited to participate. These include manufacturers of clothing, home textiles, footwear, bags, cosmetics, household chemicals, and electronics. Participants were selected in collaboration with the Uzbek Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade. The program’s reach will gradually expand to include more enterprises across the country.

The Growth Platform provides end-to-end support — from training courses on selling through Wildberries to full assistance in onboarding onto the marketplace and product promotion. To strengthen brand visibility, the program offers cross-channel marketing tools, including online and offline formats and outdoor advertising. More than 150,000 advertising surfaces across 150 cities in Russia will be available for promoting Uzbek products, opening new export opportunities and increasing international brand recognition.

Initially launched in December 2024 with the support of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI), the program has already demonstrated strong results in Russia. Within the first few months, more than 300 SMEs participating in the platform reported a sales growth of over 60% compared to the previous year. Now, these opportunities are being extended to Uzbekistan’s entrepreneurs.
