WB: The economy of Uzbekistan to grow by 5.5% in 2024

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The economic growth of Uzbekistan in 2023 made up 5.5%. This is stated in the latest Global Economic Prospects report of the World Bank.

According to the bank’s forecasts, Uzbekistan’s GDP will grow by 5.5% in 2024. It should be noted that in June 2023, the bank predicted the economic growth of Uzbekistan in 2024 at 5.4%.

At the same time, World Bank experts worsened the forecast for economic growth of Uzbekistan for 2025 by 0.3 percentage points - to 5.5%.
