Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Turkish delegation led by Vice President Fuat Oktay will visit Uzbekistan this week.
It is expected that on 28 June, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will receive Fuat Oktay.
Within the framework of the visit, the 6th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkey and the Uzbek-Turkish business forum will be held.
As part of these events, Uzbekistan and Turkey will sign a solid package of bilateral documents, the practical implementation of which will give a new impetus to the further development of Uzbek-Turkish relations.
Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Sardor Umurzakov and Turkish Ambassador to Uzbekistan Olgan Bekar held a meeting and discussed issues of preparation for the visit of the Vice President of Turkey.
The parties also considered the current state and prospects of bilateral trade and economic, investment, transport and logistics, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
